While Vijay Setupathi and KK Menon’s film was being shot in Kathmandu, a team of 16 people arrived in Nepal

Kathmandu. Filming of Vijay Setupathi and KK Menon starrer untitled South Indian film is scheduled to start in Kathmandu from November 3.

A 16-member film team including director Krishna Dashara Kothapali has arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday evening to search for the location. The film unit landed at Kathmandu Airport at 3:45 a.m. from an Indian Airways flight. The team that arrived in Kathmandu includes directors, cinematographers and technicians.

The team will return to India in three days after searching for the location of the film which will start shooting in Basantapur and Bhaktapur of Kathmandu. The name of the film and other actors will be revealed later, a member of the unit who arrived in Nepal from India informed Nepal Press.

Director Kothapali has written the script for the Bollywood comedy horror film ‘Stree’ released in 2018.

The film has started the process of getting filming permission from the Ministry of Communications. Though it is said that filming will also take place in Pokhara, no details have been given about it. This month, the Bollywood film Uchai was shot in Nepal.
