Shocking moment University of Oregon football thug punches out-of-state fan after he gave him his hat — after the Ducks’ blowout loss

A Ducks linebacker was filmed hitting a fan in the head after a football game between the Oregon Ducks and their in-state rivals the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday.
Immediately following the Ducks’ defeat at Racer Stadium in Corvallis, fans began flocking to the field. Ducks linebacker DJ Johnson crossed paths with a Beaver fan, whom he then punched in the back of the head.
The onslaught came in the wake of a surprising 38–34 victory in the last minute for the Beavers.
Although the Ducks were up by 21 points halfway through the third quarter, the Beavers quickly took the lead with just over 8 minutes remaining in the final quarter.
It is unclear what incited the attack but at the beginning of the short clip a Beaver fan can be seen tossing his hat at Johnson.
“We are aware of a postgame exchange involving a member of our football team and a fan and are working to gather more information,” Oregon said in a statement. It has not yet been said whether Johnson will face disciplinary action.

DJ Johnson was leaving the field Saturday after a loss to the Beavers when an opposing team fan crossed Johnson’s path and tipped his hat.
Out of nowhere Johnson hit the fan with his right hand. Moments later the defensive linemen were stopped by two coaches dressed in Ducks’ clothing.
Johnson had three tackles in Saturday’s game. In 11 games this season, he has a team-best 6.0 sacks.
It is not the first time this season that a player has been filmed allegedly hitting a fan. Last month, Alabama player Jermaine Burton was seen hitting a woman after a loss to Tennessee.
Emily Isaac, who was among the celebrants watching the home crowd storm the field after the epic 52-49 win for Tennessee, shared a video on social media in which Burton goes around her with his left hand. Shown hitting him with his left hand after attempting a .
