Uber to rent 50,000 Tesla cars

Kathmandu. Popular US mobility service provider Uber has agreed to lease 50,000 Tesla cars. Uber aims to lease 50,000 electric cars by 2023.

Under the new scheme, which will take effect on November 1, Uber will allow Uber drivers to rent cars in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Washington DC. The facility will be available across the United States in the following weeks, Masbell wrote.

The news came from Hertz’s order to build 100,000 Tesla cars in North America, Masbel said. The entire car is expected to be delivered by the end of 2022.

Uber has also been attracted to this as the craze of electric cars has been increasing all over the world recently. The popularity of electric cars has been increasing in Nepal recently. Similarly, Tesla has already started selling in Nepali market.
