Video of the incident shows Owens fighting a smaller, shirtless man, who is eventually dropped by the former NFL receiver’s strong right hand. The alleged heckler managed to get to his feet, and he still had more words for Owens, who apparently proved his point and began to walk away.
According to TMZ, Owens then got back in his Tesla and hit the road, stating that police were not called to the scene.
The odds were heavily stacked against Owens’ opponent, facing a former professional athlete known for being in peak physical condition. Earlier this year, footage surfaced of Owens allegedly running the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds, which is as good as or better than many current NFL wide receivers.
On top of that, Owens is 6-foot-3 and weighs around 230 pounds.
A polarizing player in his time, Owens is regarded as the greatest receiver in football history. The former Chattanooga star never won a Super Bowl, but he was a five-time first-team All-Pro before ending his NFL career with the Bengals in 2010. He attempted a comeback in 2012 with the Seattle Seahawks, but never played a regular-season game for the team.

Owens had a few run-ins with the Nationals this year, including a racially charged confrontation with a neighbor in Florida that eventually went viral in August.
The other party, a 38-year-old white woman named Caitlin Davis, was later charged with a second-degree misdemeanor for lying to police about the incident and is scheduled to return to the Broward County Courtroom on December 6. . dailymail.com. It’s not clear what, specifically, he is being accused of lying about, but he said Owens was driving dangerously.
According to the statement of the reporting officer obtained by DailyMail.com, she was unable to support her allegations.
“He got out of his car and started harassing me,” Davis told officers as Owens recorded the scene on his phone, while referring to her as “Karen.”
‘But you didn’t need to get out of your fucking car,’ she then yelled at Owens.
Owens replied: ‘You didn’t even need to talk to me like that.’
It was at this point that Davis brought race into the spotlight by shouting: ‘You’re a black man approaching a white woman.’
In the midst of an escalating situation, Davis again began to cry.
‘He really followed me,’ the woman was sobbing.
Owens continued to record while cooperating with the authorities by providing his identity.
‘You go to him, sir,’ Owens told the officer, handing over his ID.
Referring to the situation, Owens said, ‘I’ve seen it, but I’ve never been a part of it.’
Owens continued to refer to Davis as ‘Karen’, which has become a pejorative term for an empowered white woman exercising white privilege, as commonly seen in a viral video.
Owens, who starred with the 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys and Bengals, captioned his video: ‘Karen Is Real!!!!’
‘very nice!! Just a normal night being a black man in America.’ ‘I want to say I can’t believe it, but you all know what it is. #karenonbikes #tears #falseaccusations #hernameiskate

He later references Emmett Till, a 14-year-old African American who was lynched in Mississippi in 1955 for allegedly outraging a white woman.
Owens wrote on August 4, ‘This is for those who, until they were murdered, did not get a chance to speak their truth because of false accusations.’
‘About what happened last night… Here she is, a real life and our neighbor Karen: her name is Caitlin Davis.’
More recently, Owens appeared on Chris Cuomo’s new show to discuss the incident.
Owens said, ‘If the roles were reversed, they would have gone to the full extent of the law to accuse me.’ ‘It’s not about me.’
‘I just think about others who may be in this position and if they didn’t have the position or the means that I did, it could have been seriously different.
‘I want to be able to use this platform to shine a light on what’s going on,’ he said. ‘It doesn’t matter what type of neighborhood you’re in, it’s a reality of life for a black person or black American.’

An officer could be seen in the background, and Owens was supportive, calling him ‘Sir’
