The co-founder of a cryptocurrency company has died ‘unexpectedly’ at the age of 30.
Tiantian Kulander, who co-founded Hong Kong-based digital asset company Amber Group, died in his sleep, a spokeswoman for his firm said.
The father of one, who was named in Forbes’ prestigious 30-under-30 list in 2019, passed away ‘unexpectedly’ on November 23. No further details were given surrounding the cause of death.
The Amber Group described Kullander – affectionately known as ‘TT’ by friends and colleagues – as ‘crucial to the founding of Amber and a pillar of our success’.

‘ he put his Heart and soul in the company at every stage of its development. He set an example with his intelligence, generosity, humility, diligence and creativity,’ the company said in a statement.
‘TT was a respected thought leader and widely recognized as an industry pioneer. The firm said that his depth of knowledge, his willingness to collaborate and his willingness to always help others have benefitted countless start-ups and individuals.
Kullander, a former Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs trader, founded Ember Group in 2017. The company was valued at $3 billion (£2.4 billion) in recent months.
The firm added in its statement: ‘TT was a devoted husband, a loving father and a tough friend. His passing is sad and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
‘He is survived by his wife and their dear son. We humbly request you to respect their privacy in this difficult time.
Kullander’s death comes just weeks after the death of another young crypto millionaire.

Mushegian has a history of mental health problems and his family believes there was no foul play.
In a tweet hours before he died, he said: ‘The CIA and Mossad and the pedo elite are running some sort of sex trafficking blackmail ring out of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean islands.
‘They gonna frame me with the laptop planted by my ex [girlfriend] who was a detective. They will kill me.’
However, some in the crypto community in Puerto Rico are suspicious of the timing of his death.
He was discovered by a surfer in the water off Ashford Beach on 29 October, fully clothed and carrying his wallet.
