The third wave of Corona is expected to hit India from January

Delhi. A new variant of the coronavirus, Omicron infection, has been confirmed and a third wave is expected in India in January 2022, according to a study.

According to Dainik Bhaskar, the data analysis was presented in a study conducted on Omicron variant led by Professor Manindra Agrawal of IIT Kanpur.

Even during the first and second wave in India, Professor Agrawal’s data analysis was very popular. According to him, the number of infections could be reduced if night curfew and curfew were imposed.

Professor Agarwal analyzed data from Omicron and Third Wave, which has recently been spread in more than 30 countries and is listed as a variant of concern by the World Health Organization.

According to him, the third wave may start from January and reach its peak in February. He said that the daily infection could reach 1.5 lakh in February when the infection is at its peak. Dainik Bhaskar
