Following her debut on the Netflix series The Crown, Elizabeth Debicki has landed herself on the cover of Australian Vogue’s December issue.

The Australian actress, who plays the late Princess Diana in the latest season of the popular drama, posed for an editorial photo shoot to prove that she can work as a model too.

In the images, Elizabeth strikes a series of dramatic poses while modeling eclectic designer outfits and jewellery.

In her interview with the publication, Elizabeth opened up about finding out about Princess Diana’s battles with the media and paparazzi.

‘As a concept, [fame is] That’s not what appeals to me. The main thing is that one of the most valuable things people have is taken away, which is the right to privacy,’ she said.

‘I’ve seen that on people I really love and care about. Fame doesn’t discriminate on how weak you feel that day, what’s going on in your personal life, how tired you are, or whether you really don’t want to have your picture taken.’

Elizabeth also shared insight into her own personal struggles with self-image, telling the publication that she felt insecure about how she looked during her twenties.

‘In the beginning, I was always like, ‘Why is this part of my job that I have to look pretty and dress up and be good at it?’ I was always like, ‘I have no idea how to do this. Am I enough?” he confessed.

Now in her thirties, Elizabeth said she has learned not to care about being considered ‘pretty’.

In the early hours of 31 August 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales, died in a car accident in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris, France. Dodi Fayed, Diana’s companion, and Henri Paul, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz W140 S-Class, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Khaled Abdullah will play his partner Dodi in the new season, while Salim Dau will play Mohamed Al-Fayed.
