‘This hack will blow your mind,’ said the cleaner while uploading the controversial video.

She places a small bucket inside her Vileda Spin Mop bucket, then she fills it with floor cleaner and boiling water.

She dips her mop into the smaller bucket and wrings it, the excess water draining into the larger bucket.

In this way the dirty and clean water gets separated and she only dips the mop in the clean water.

The hack turned divisive online.

Some of Tanya’s followers liked this trick.

One woman enthused, ‘I have to say, the mind blowing reel never lived up to the hype, but it could literally change my life, I’m a mopping fanatic.’

‘That way you clean with only clear water,’ commented another.

However others deemed the hack ‘redundant’, leaving the mop dirty after being used on the floor.

One woman remarked, ‘Ummmmm, the dirty mop still goes in the clean water.’

Controversial way of wiping Tanya:

1. Put a small bucket into the Vileda Spin Mop bucket, then fill it with floor cleaner and boiling water

2. Dip mop directly into small bucket and rinse in mop wringer

3. The dirty and clean water is now separated and you just dip the mop in the clean water

‘Once you put the mop in the bucket after washing the first part of the floor you have dirty water? So pointless hack really,’ said another.

‘Unless you wash that mop before dipping it in the cleaning solution, you’re dipping a dirty mop into a clean solution,’ agreed another.

Earlier, Tanya went viral after revealing she left her oven racks sparkling clean using frozen dishwashing liquid.

She began by pouring Fairy Antibacterial Dishwashing Liquid into an ice cube tray and leaving the detergent to freeze for a few hours.

Using frozen cubes can see tough food stains being easily slid off the oven rack.

Wearing rubber gloves, Tanya cleaned the oven racks over a sink full of soapy water.

After successive swiping of the steel, the frozen cubes turned into a ‘mushy’ jelly-like consistency and the rack came out sparkling clean.

She also added two frozen detergent cubes to the barrel of the washing machine to get stains out of her white laundry.
