Serena Williams lists her ‘greatests of all time’ including Sir Lewis Hamilton, LeBron James and Tiger Woods… as she prepares to start her final US Open appearance

Ahead of her final Tennis Major debut, Serena Williams has done something to reflect on her life and the sport as a whole.
while talking to time journalWilliams was asked to make a list of people she thought were the greatest of all time.
His answer included many sports including motor racing, golf, basketball and of course tennis.
She was asked to name one or two, but she replied that limiting her list to that number, ‘was so unfair, because I can’t narrow it down.’
Serena Williams has brought great respect to many athletes as she begins the end of her tennis career.
The first two names mentioned by Williams were Sir Lewis Hamilton and Tiger Woods.
‘I mean … I think Lewis Hamilton, obviously, I mean, for me it’s like … not only the greatest but he does a lot. And, you know, he’s a wonderful guy.’
‘I think LeBron (James) is amazing, I think Tiger (Woods) is amazing. You can’t start this conversation without naming the original (GOAT), Michael Jordan.
‘So I guess they’re like … mythical names that will live on and, you know, you can put me in there too.’
When asked by the interviewer if he thinks he’s involved in the conversation of the greatest athletes of all time, he said, ‘Oh, definitely. Hands down.’
He added the names of three male tennis players who he thinks are also involved in the conversation.
‘Roger (Federer), Rafa (Nadal), Novak (Djokovic), I mean all three of them are greats.’
After Hamilton & Woods, Williams lists himself along with Jordan, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic
