Kathmandu. A Saudi national has been arrested in France on suspicion of killing journalist Jamal Khasogi. According to French media, Khalid Edi Al Otaibi was arrested from Franco Charles de Guelli airport.
According to the BBC, the man was one of 26 people involved in the killings. Journalist Khashoggi, a fierce critic of the Riyadh royal family, was assassinated in October 2018 at the Saudi consulate in Turkey.
The Saudis say the former Washington Post reporter was killed in an accident by a team of agents sent to repatriate him. However, Turkish officials say the journalist was killed on orders from a high-ranking Saudi government official.
