Nepali chef Santosh Sah has managed to reach the top 4 of ‘BBC Master Safe Professionals 2020’ UK by tasting Kodo Khir. He reached the top four from the first round of the final round aired on BBC One on Tuesday night.
In the competition, Santosh also made mango kulfi along with kodo kheer and mango ‘amot’ popular in the Terai. He had participated in this competition to taste Nepali food. He had won the hearts of the judges by feeding them the basic foods found in Nepal. He has also reintroduced lost food to the world.
Santosh from Siraha has been serving Nepali food since the first round of the competition. He managed to make it to the top 4, beating six other contestants in the final round. He has been involved in this profession for two decades. During this time he worked for many years as a SAFE in India and the UK.
The final of Master Safe Professionals 2020 will be telecast next Thursday evening. His mother is happy that 35-year-old Santosh has reached the top four. The mother said, “I am very happy that my son has reached the final. But I want her to get married soon. ‘
