Robert Irwin, the teenage son of the late ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Steve Irwin, has officially debuted his first girlfriend, Heath Ledger’s niece, Scarlett Buckley.
During a romantic beach date in Queensland on Nov. 18, the 18-year-old wildlife warrior was spotted embracing Scarlett, 18 — and sparks were flying.
Photos published by New Idea magazine show the young couple enjoying a jolly walk, both unable to wipe the smiles from their faces.

After grabbing a burger and fries from the Grilled Restaurant, the pair eventually found their way to the grass and sat down, prompting Robert to wrap his arms around the blonde in a big bear hug.
While neither has spoken publicly about their blossoming new romance, Robert has apparently been following Scarlett’s personal Instagram account for a while now.
Perth-based Scarlett is the daughter of Heath Ledger’s sister Kate, who owns a design and media production company, and Nathan Buckley, a floor covering store owner.

Scarlett also has a twin sister named Rory.
