Odell Beckham Jr was kicked from a plane in Miami that was bound for Los Angeles on Sunday after police were called to a medical emergency where he was reportedly ‘losing consciousness’.
The flight was scheduled to take off from Miami at 9:30 am, but was delayed approximately one hour and 30 minutes before departure. The passengers were removed from the plane after Beckham refused to leave at the police’s request.
Meanwhile, Beckham tweeted on Sunday: “Never in my life have I experienced what just happened… I’ve seen it all.”
After this he tweeted ‘Never. In. My. Life’ and ‘I Could Never Make It Up’.
Footage also emerged of Beckham Jr being escorted by police to the airport ticketing area in Miami.

The man who filmed Beckham Jr being escorted from the airport replied to another tweet of his called ‘Comedy Hour’, saying: ‘Getting us off the plane because you were unresponsive and unruly , this is not a comedy for the hundreds of people who are trying to get by. Friend of the house Not a cool man.
Another person claiming to be on the flight wrote on Twitter, ‘I was on this flight, he was not unresponsive, he was sleeping.
‘They tried twice to wake her up to put her seatbelt on, then they got aggressively rude to her and she responded with the same energy GTFOH.’
A police statement said: ‘At approximately 9:30 pm, officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department were dispatched to a medical emergency on an American Airlines flight.
‘The flight crew were concerned for a passenger (Mr Odell Beckham) who, as they tried to wake him up to fasten his seat belt, regained consciousness and came out before they left.
‘Fearing that Mr Beckham was seriously ill, and that his condition would worsen during the likely 5-hour flight, the stewards called for the police and fire rescue.
‘Upon the arrival of officers, the flight crew asked Mr Beckham several times to exit the aircraft, which he refused. The plane touched down, at which time Mr. Beckham was asked by officers to exit the aircraft, and did so without incident.
‘Mr. Beckham was escorted by officers to a secure area of the terminal where they made further arrangements.
A statement from American Airlines said: ‘American Airlines Flight 1228, with service from Miami (MIA) to Los Angeles (LAX), failed to comply with crew members’ instructions and to fasten their seat belts. Due to refusal, returned to the gate before takeoff.
‘The customer was removed and the flight took off again at 10:54 am local time.’
NFL star Beckham, 30, is a free agent and is in the final stages of recovery from an ACL injury he suffered while playing for the LA Rams in the Super Bowl in February.
He has been linked with signings for several teams and earlier this week Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was touting the possibility of Beckham joining.
