‘I had two black eyes for the whole show’: Maisie Smith admits she was worried she broke her eye sockets during filming SAS: Who Dare Wins – and recalls fight with Fern McCann
She is set to appear in the upcoming season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dare Wins.
And 21-year-old Maisie Smith has admitted she was concerned that her eye socket was ‘broken’ during filming for the show, admitting she had ‘two black eyes’ the entire time.
Describing a physical fight she had with fellow recruit Ferne McCann, the actress elaborated that the pair had gone ‘crazy at each other’.

Known for being physically grueling and testing challenges, SAS: Who Dare Wins sends participants through a special air service screening process.
And speaking to The Sun about filming, Macy shared that she and former TOWIE star Fern were made to fight each other during a task.
‘ They went, “Go,” and I wasn’t expecting him to get mad. But she literally just sighed, “Agh,” and just screamed. I think she closed her eyes, screamed and went mad.

Coming soon: Along with Fern, Maisie is also set to appear on the show alongside stars like Callum Best, Curtis Pritchard, Pete Wicks and Amber Gill.
‘ I thought, “Okay. I need to step up my game”. I was going for a solid minute with just yelling and punching, like a proper cat fight.’
He continued: ‘I got some good punches. It was not like a normal boxing ring. It was nonstop.
And describing that the fight spawned a new nickname for him, Massey elaborated that a director dubbed him “Tiny Temper.”
One task involved her jumping off a helicopter, with the soap star sharing that she was taken to therapy after the jump hit the water.
Sharing that she got two black eyes from a fall and was left with them for the entire filming.

‘Literally when I came off the show my thighs were still dark purple for two weeks, they were still dark purple, just from falling on the water from a height.
“I hit it so hard that the medic had to check I didn’t break my eye sockets,” the star shared.
Along with Fern, Maisie is also set to appear on the show alongside stars like Callum Best, Curtis Pritchard, Pete Wicks and Amber Gill.
The show is set to return on Channel 4 on Sunday, 4th September.
