Lupita Nyong’o gifted her fans a new Instagram photo series on Sunday, featuring an assortment of behind-the-scenes footage from her time on the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The 39-year-old actress flaunted her fit physique in her character’s costume as she captured memories along with the other cast members while filming the anticipated sequel.

The Little Monsters star reprized her role as Nakia in the second film, which has grossed a total of $675 million at the global box office since its November 11 release earlier this month.

The American actress typed a short caption for her 10.2 million fans and followers, ‘More than forever in Wakanda’ with a black heart emoji added at the end.

In the first snap she shared, Lupita can be seen fully decked out in her figure-hugging costume next to actress Michaela Cole, who plays Aneka in the film.

The two can be seen standing outside in the sun before stepping on the sets to shoot the scene.

The second photo shows Lupita happily posing for a selfie next to Winston Duke, who played M’Baku. While he was fully dressed as his character, the actress was seen wearing a plain black coat to stay warm.

The beauty also uploaded a picture of the Dora Milaje, dressed in their remarkable, red outfits, as they sat on chairs waiting to be called on set.

Lupita interjected a photo of Winston in conversation with actress Danai Gurira as the crew prepared for another scene.

She also took another quick selfie with Abba Arthur as the two looked at the camera with an excited smile.

Speaking about her character in the Black Panther franchise, Lupita told Harper’s Bazaar that she has a “soft spot” for Nakia. ‘She feels familiar, and Wakanda feels like home.’

The star continued, ‘Black Panther was the first film where I was really groomed. It felt great – all the clothes and makeup show.’

Referring to Lupita’s caption, actress and singer Janelle Monae dropped a string of black heart emojis. Another user wrote, ‘I will never get tired of this content.’

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was officially released in theaters on November 11, and held the number one spot on the box office charts for three consecutive weeks.

According to Deadline, the sequel has grossed a total of $675 million at the global box office since its premiere.

The first Black Panther film, which was released in 2018, grossed nearly $1.3 billion worldwide.
