Lewis Capaldi stunned London commuters by playing the piano and singing his latest single at busy St Pancras International train station

Lewis Capaldi surprised local commuters at a London train station when he performed his latest single, Pointless.

The singer-songwriter traveled to London St Pancras International train station to perform a stripped back version of the track on piano.

Lewis, 26, previously took to Twitter to announce his new song by giving fans a 30-second preview.

Official UK Charts uploaded the video to their TikTok account, and during the video, fans and local passers-by can be seen recording it on their phones.

Lewis was seen outside the station advertising his new single to commuters, before approaching a young girl playing the piano at the station.

During the touching video, Lewis can be seen shaking hands and complementing his piano-playing skills.

Lewis then takes the piano as the little girl stands next to him watching him play the latest single from his upcoming album, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Saint.

Once the video went viral, fans immediately commented on the heartwarming video, with one posting: ‘Every day there is an unusual increase in the amount of love I have for Lewis Capaldi.’

Another fan also complimented Lewis that even though he is highly famous, he is kind and down to earth.

Lewis’ latest single Pointless, which is due for release next week, was co-written by Bad Habits singer Ed Sheeran.

The single is set to become Lewis’ second big single this year following her big music comeback.

Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Saint will be released on 19 May 2023.
