Karl Stefanovic has shared some intimate details about his sister-in-law’s whirlwind romance with cricketer Michael Clarke.
Speaking to The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday, the TODAY show host revealed how Clarke first met designer Jade Yarbrough.
‘He had a friend who was his business partner and so they met and reunited,’ he explained.

‘We were with them over the weekend and they are just a lovely couple.’
Asked by host Kyle Sandilands if the pair were ‘over each other’, Karl admitted: ‘Just a little bit too much’.
Carl, who is married to Jade’s sister Jasmine, also said that the couple had “known each other for a few years but nothing happened”.
Michael has already introduced his six-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee, to Jade.
Over the past week the trio have been seen playing with happy families in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Jade, a stylist and interior designer, recently took to Instagram with former Australian cricket captain Clarke while on vacation in Europe.
He shared a photo of Michael wrapped around his shoulder as he explored the streets of Italy.
Rumors that the pair were dating broke up in July.
The couple is said to have met through Carl.
The Daily Telegraph previously reported that Michael has become ‘very fond’ of Jade in recent weeks.

Michael was in a high-profile relationship with Pei Nation co-founder Pip Edwards, which first ended in February last year after several months of dating.
Pip and Michael’s relationship began in June 2020 after his split from wife Kylie Clark, which he announced four months earlier.
After separating from Pip in February, the couple rekindled their romance in October, but split again in December.
Michael and Kylie split in September 2019 but only revealed their split in a surprise announcement on February 12, 2020.
It is understood that no third party was involved in their break-up.
In an official statement at the time, the Clarks said the ‘amicable’ decision to separate was the ‘best course’ for their daughter.
