‘I expected to do more on this side of having kids’: Jessica Brown Findlay complains she’s struggling to find acting roles while pregnant
Her acting career began when she starred as the rebellious noblewoman Lady Sybil Crawley in Downton Abbey.
But Jessica Brown Findlay, 35, complains she is now having trouble finding work after becoming pregnant.
The actress, who starred in the hit ITV drama from 2010 to 2012, is expecting her first child with actor husband Ziggy Heath.
She said: ‘I had hoped to do more on this side of having children, but you can’t. It’s very difficult to insure pregnant women on set – and since Covid it’s even more difficult because you’re perceived as being at even higher risk.’

Jessica said that her voice over work is also over. He told The Sunday Times’ culture magazine: ‘It is shocking.’
She also talked about the ‘extreme depth of shame’ she felt when private nude photos of her and others surfaced online in a 2014 iCloud leak.
The actress said that after the #MeToo movement, the incident would have been handled differently.
She said: ‘Women don’t lose job opportunities and are traded on the dark web for a month before being publicly leaked because the body is a commodity.’

The actress previously revealed she went through four rounds of IVF treatment in hopes of having her first child, as she shared her fertility journey with her social media followers in a candid post earlier this year.
She shared insight into her fertility struggles with a candid Instagram post to celebrate International Women’s Day, along with a video of herself injecting her hormones.
In the post, Jessica shared a fast-paced video of herself injecting hormones into her abdomen, which increase the number of eggs normally produced by the ovaries.

The star posted an emotional caption to remind her followers that “their bodies are not the enemy,” while also revealing that she’s on her fourth round of IVF treatments.
She wrote: ‘Happy International Women’s Day! We work hard and then dance.
‘IVF has made me even more aware of how capable women are and what we can achieve in the midst of pain and heartbreak.
‘Your body is not the enemy. love it. no matter what. Sending love and support to all the women I’ve met and haven’t met so far, but know what it is.’
Jessica tied the knot with husband Ziggy in 2020 in a low-key wedding after meeting on the Hulu drama Harlots with just 30 guests in attendance due to Covid restrictions.
