Just six days after being released from a burn center following a horrific accident in which he suffered severe burns to his face, chest and hands, Jay Leno returned to the stage to deliver his own brand of comedy, according to CNN,
On Sunday, the veteran comedian was greeted by a sold-out crowd at The Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California, who were happy to see him back to his regular, evening sets.
The venue has served as a home base for Leno almost every Sunday since the early 1990s, as a place where he could test out new material for his stand-up act and old Tonight Show monologues. Could

Leno, 72, was first seen walking up to the club with his lovely wife Mavis sitting next to him in the passenger seat.
When he pulled over there were already lines of people along the sidewalk hoping to see the comedian’s triumphant return in the wake of the scary accident.
The club’s oceanfront location has long been a favorite spot for comedians and audience members alike. Many of the top comics in the industry, such as Leno, have called it their home club and continue to.
Club staff made a ‘Welcome Back Jay’ sign, which also had ‘We Love You’ written on it.
Once inside, Leno and his wife were joined by the owner of the club, who sat down with them for the rest of the evening.

The New Rochelle, New York native seemed like his old self in good and happy spirits since he arrived, while the burns to his hands and face healed.
He then hit the stage and began a barrage of jokes, mostly making fun of himself, all while making light of the accident.
The accident occurred on November 12 when Leno was working under one of the many older vehicles stored in his garage in Burbank.
As she was being hauled away, a gas leak caused an explosion that set her on fire.
Funnyman was taken to the hospital with second and third degree burns to his face, chest and hands.

Ultimately, he was transferred to the Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles, where he would be treated for 10 days, which included two surgical procedures to treat his injuries, according to his physician, Dr. Peter Grossman.
The former Tonight Show host was seen for the first time since last Monday’s accident as he bid farewell to a team of doctors, nurses and other specialists at the Grossman Burn Center.
in an interview with et, Dr. Grossman revealed that Leno suffered “significant injuries” but is “doing very well,” helped by being a “strong person” with a “strong attitude.”
Leno is set to perform three additional shows at The Comedy & Magic Club in December.
