James Jordan reveals 'tough few days' as his daughter Ella, 2, is 'really unwell' with ear infection

James Jordan has revealed his daughter, who he shares with wife Ola, is ‘really unwell’ with double ear infections.

The 44-year-old professional dancer often takes to Twitter every week to share her critiques and opinions on Strictly Come Dancing.

However, this Saturday he revealed on the social media platform that he will not be tweeting as usual because his two-year-old daughter, Ella, is ill.

He explained that he had had ‘difficult days’ as Ella was suffering from a month-long illness.

James tweeted: ‘Unfortunately guys – Ella is really unwell so won’t be tweeting tonight. Big love to all.

After the star was inundated with messages of support by fans, she wrote on Twitter on Sunday: ‘Hi guys – thanks for all the lovely messages about Ella.

‘She’s still pretty bad but doing better. After being ill for 1 month, now he has got ear infection in both the ears, so few days have been difficult. But he’s a Jordan and a fighter!’

He added: ‘It’s hard to see Ella in so much pain from her ear infection.

‘She is on antibiotics – Calpol every 4 hours and Ibuprofen every 4 hours but after 2 hours.

After both couples danced a second time, the judges announced their verdicts.

Craig chose to save Fleur and Vito, explaining: ‘Based on technology alone I want to save Fleur and Vito.’

Motsi also chose to save the couple, saying: ‘First of all I want to say that both couples did really well, for me also the technical aspect was very important, so I’m going to save Fleur and Vito. ‘

Anton said: ‘Anyway I want to congratulate both couples for getting this far in the competition. Both danced fiercely.

‘I thought Ellie did a great job in Your Jive. And Fleur I thought your technique was strong and your performance was powerful, and I want to save Fleur and Vito.’

With three votes to Flair and Vito, this meant that they had won the majority vote and would remain in the competition, although head judge Shirley Ballas stated that she too would have decided to save Flair and Vito.

She said: ‘Both couples danced exceptionally well but on this occasion, due to the merits of technique, I would have saved Fleur and Vito.’

Asked by host Tess Daly if it was everything she expected, Ellie said: ‘It’s happened and it’s happened, I’m going to be a cliché machine now, but it’s everything and more It is done. I never in a million years expected to live so long and experience it to the fullest.
