Chrissy Teigen announces she is expecting her third child with husband John Legend after nearly two years sharing heartbreaking loss of his unborn son.
On Wednesday, Teigen shared the good news on her Instagram with a mirror selfie that showed off her growing bump. She wrote that she was nervous to share the news but she felt “hopeful and wonderful.”
“The past few years have been a blur of emotion to say the least, but happiness has refilled our homes and hearts,” Teigen wrote. “1 billion shots later (as you can see in the leg lately!) we have another one on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘Okay if it’s healthy today I’ll announce it’ but Then I take a breath of relief to hear the heartbeat and decide that I’m still too nervous.”
“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I feel hopeful and wonderful. Well, keeping at it for so long It’s been so hard!” He added.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” Teigen It was written in an Instagram post at that time.
“We never decide on the names of our babies until the last possible moment after their birth, just before they leave the hospital. But for some reason, we started calling this little boy Jack in our stomachs. So he Will always be Jack for us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be forever. For our Jack- I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were so complicated, that We can’t give you the house you need to survive. We will love you forever.”
