A shepherd in Sierra Leone met a dropping stone — a diamond of 706 carats (141 kilos). In more than 40 years, it is the biggest diamond in Sierra Leone.
When it was located, the pastor decided to pass it over to the administration. Hopefully it would promote the West African nation’s growth.
He added that he thought that such a diamond should be auctioned openly across the country so that the worth of the diamond and who the buyer is would be known.
